Double A Productions was established in 2020 as a boutique production company in the Middle East specialising in the development and production of original film and high-end television content for a global audience.
From Ghodwa’s Success
To Global Acclaim with To My Son
In 2021, Double A produced its debut feature film Ghodwa. The film was shot in Tunisia and premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival in (2022) where it earned the FIPRESCI Award for Best Film. Ghodwa’s wide theatrical release across the whole of the Middle East was followed by its acquisition by Netflix for its global audience in 2023.
Double A Productions went on to produce its second feature film, To My Son, which was filmed in the U.K. and Saudi Arabia. To My Son premiered at the Red Sea Film Festival in 2023 is currently being distributed in the Middle East by Front Row Filmed Entertainment, and AGC Studios internationally.
